This is a wonderful game. The description reads it as a strategy game, but I think that it should still be considered an RPG because it is a role that you are playing and you make decisions based on what you want your character to be like (role-playing). Yes there is a lot of strategy and eventually the game becomes quite complicated but it is still a role-based game.
In fact the complexity of this game is amazing. At first the addictiveness and slight simplicity hit you and keep you going. But after a while you begin to level up and add new layers of complexity. It really does keep you motivated.
Although, I currently have a level 25 character, and I have kind of stopped there. There is a spellbook system that I haven’t grasped and I haven’t had the time to sit down and figure it out.
Some of the newer features (tourneys, ladders, and battle organizing) do require some extra time to sit and think about your choices. But in all, the game is still quite fun.
